KPCO 2026 RFP
Kentucky Power Company (KPCO), an American Electric Power company, is pursuing up to 800 MW of nameplate rated Combined Cycle resources via the following Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

RFP seeking one or more PSAs from Kentucky Located, PJM interconnected Combined Cycle Natural Gas resources. |

RFP seeking energy, PJM capacity, and ancillary services via one or more PPAs from Kentucky Located Combined Cycle Natural Gas Resources. |
To qualify for consideration resources must be located in Kentucky. Resources must either have a completed PJM System Impact Study which remains active in the PJM queue or be interconnected (via Interconnection Agreement or pseudo-tie) to the PJM Transmission system, and must also be deliverable to the AEP Locational Deliverability Area (LDA).
Proposals are due September 2, 2026. All proposal responses should be submitted to the Sharepoint outlined in the RFP documents.
