The 7th annual food drive and fundraiser, sponsored by Kentucky Power, UK King's Daughters and Community Trust Bank is a chance to come together to help our neighbors experiencing hunger by supporting local food pantries.
With your help, we can make a difference. By participating in Power Up the Pantry, you will directly support God's Pantry and Facing Hunger, helping to ensure our local food pantries are well-stocked and ready to assist those experiencing hunger throughout our eastern Kentucky communities.
Since its inception, Power Up the Pantry has collected thousands of pounds of food and raised thousands of dollars to support local food pantries. With your help, we can surpass previous records to make an even greater impact on our community and put an end to hunger.
Drop off non-perishable food items on Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at one of our donation locations below.
Ashland — Wal-Mart, 351 Riverhill Drive
Cannonsburg — Wal-Mart, 12504 US-60
Hazard — Wal-Mart, 120 Daniel Boone Plaza
Pikeville — Wal-Mart, 254 Cassidy Boulevard
Leading up to the event, drop off canned goods and non-perishable foods at the following Community Trust Bank locations:
