Thank you for your patience.
For Kentucky Power, the responsibility of supplying electricity extends far beyond keeping the lights on. It is about helping communities across eastern Kentucky build a more prosperous future.
Our connection to our communities in 20 counties on the eastern edge of the Bluegrass State runs deep. We strengthen our connection by volunteering, promoting economic development, supporting education, and funding supporting local projects that make a positive impact. Together, with you, we create brighter futures and boundless opportunities.

Kentucky Power is proud to announce the results of the sixth annual Power Up the Pantry food drive. The event, held Sept. 25 in Ashland, Hazard and Pikeville, brought in 2,593 pounds of food and $26,186 in donations, including $25,000 in grants awarded to the food banks by the Kentucky Power Foundation, helping provide thousands of meals for families facing food insecurity.
Volunteers, local organizations, and a shared commitment to giving back came together this weekend at Ashland’s 24th Annual Repair Affair — and Kentucky Power was proud to be a part of it.
With help from the Kentucky Power Foundation, River Cities Harvest now has a new van to safely deliver food to people in need.
